With MyPerfectDJ, don’t expect to hire a DJ that is a clown. Limbo sticks, and inflatables are not our style (unless that’s your style) our DJs are reserved and do not try to be the center of attention at weddings and receptions. This day is yours, not ours. We don’t even advertise our DJ services unless you grant us permission to, and even then, we don’t advertise until the final hour of your event to keep it all about you. We often get complimented on our ability to read our crowds and keep everyone satisfied with the music we select. When you hire MyPerfectDJ, you don’t have to worry about us bringing along a family and kids and everything else like we’ve heard about with other DJs in the area. We may have a roadie that helps us with equipment if you go with the Deluxe package but he will be dressed appropriately and will be in the background the whole time not causing any problems at your wedding.
Some people have questions for us before hiring us for their special day, a few of our most common ones will be listed below for you to look through, if you still have questions, don’t hesitate, call us today. We won’t try to sell you and you have no commitment to go through with anything, we just want to make sure you have all the information you need before making a decision. We believe that’s the most important thing you can do when selecting a DJ is talk with him or her and make sure they are a good fit. I’ve had clients tell me that nothing was worse than when their sister / cousin / aunt / mom got married and their DJ got the dance floor packed with a slow song then lost them the very next song. I can guarantee that won’t happen with MyPerfectDJ.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will you be there on time?
A: This is probably the most asked question from any engaged couple we speak with. Our answer is simple. Yes. But that’s a little bit too simple. We will not only be there on time, we will be there 3 hours early to test out the lights and sound system and make sure everything is working. We can even meet the couple at the venue the day before as they decorate or we will schedule a date with the venue to check it out and see how we can best use the space.
Q: Okay, so you’ll be there on time, but what about your music selection?
A: Provided we have cell phone service or an internet connection provided by the venue we can get any song you’d like to hear if we don’t already have it. We are affiliated with many companies that can deliver extremely high quality songs you and your guests want in a timely fashion. All songs we download at the event will sound crystal clear on our high end PA system.
Q: Okay, I’m sold, how early do you like to have people book your DJ services?
A: Truthfully, anything up to 45 days before the event is great. In order to make the most out of your wedding though, you may want to look into doing everything as soon as you’ve said I DO.
